Funeral service for William “Bill” Arthur Plank was December 18, 2020 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Pastor Abraham Velazquez officiating.
Interment was in North Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bill Plank, Danny Plank, Curtis Plank, Christopher Plank, Cory Contreras, David Smart, Adam Plank and Timmy Bryan.
Mr. Plank was born November 23, 1939 in Eminence to Harry V. and Sylvia Ella (Lancaster) Plank. He married Sue Ann Leighton October 3, 1959. They were the parents of five children. Mr. Plank died December 14, 2020 in Sullivan at the age of 81 years.
Survivors include his children, Bill Plank and wife, Kelly, Oklahoma; Dan Plank and wife, Leny, Columbus, Wisconsin; Curtis Plank, Shawnee, Kansas; Cindy Smart and husband, Aaron, Palm Bay, Florida; and Barbara Contreras, Salem; siblings, Jean Kelley and husband, Ralph, Salem; Verna Bullock, Salem; Don Plank and wife, Ida, Centralia; Ruth Ladd and husband, Steve, Apopka, Florida; Haden Plank and wife, Mary Lou, Centralia; Carl Plank, Salem; Gary Plank and wife, Carol, Ringgold, Georgia; Ken Plank and wife, Linda, Salem; and Richard Plank and wife, Carol, Rolla; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his wife; parents; brothers, James Paul, Melvin Dewaine, and Curtis Dale; sisters, Thela Cooksey, Rosalie Yates and Janice Elaine Bell.
Mr. Plank attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
