Funeral service for Mark Lawrence Huitt was September 21, 2025 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Viburnum, with Kevin Moore officiating.
Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Huitt was born June 14, 1959 in St. Louis to Paul and Betty “Irene” (Boldes) Huitt. He married Shirley Lucas October 29, 1983. They were the parents of two children. Mr. Huitt died September 17, 2025 in Springfield at the age of 66 years.
Survivors include his son, Andy Huitt, Springfield; daughter, Amy Moore and husband, Kevin, Salem; sisters, Linda Guild and husband, Tom, West Virginia; Susan Smith, Arkansas; and Holly Flick and husband, Larry, Arkansas; grandchildren, Magnolia and Oliver; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his wife; parents; and brother-in-law, Richard Smith.
