Funeral service for Jessie Marie (Reed) Schafer will be at 1 p.m. August 5, 2025 at Wilson Mortuary, Salem.
Interment will be in Green Forest Cemetery.
Mrs. Schafer died July 31, 2025 in Springfield at the age of 89 years.
Survivors include her children, Brenda Nash, Lebanon; Dennis Schafer and wife, Cindy, Rolla; Debbie Hines and husband, Tim, Salem; and Larry Schafer and wife, Shelley, Salem; sisters, Beverly Canaday, Salem; and Carol Lewis, Salem; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation is 11 a.m. until time of service August 5, 2025 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Green Forest Cemetery. Cards may be obtained at Wilson Mortuary.
