Ms. King was born February 25, 1951 in St. Louis to George and Erna (Copeland) King. She married Larry Jethel McMillen May 16, 1970. They were the parents of three daughters. Ms. King died February 5, 2025 in Salem at the age of 73 years.
Survivors include her daughters, Angelaina Ayers; Tammy Dudley; Cynthia Chilton and husband, Larry; bonus daughter, Brenna Mills Suhling and husband, Christopher; siblings, Susan DeJarnette and husband, Dennis, Maryland Heights; Gary King, Salem; and Gwynn Beers and husband, Ted, St. Louis County; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
