Funeral service for Roger Edward Beeman was October 26, 2020 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Viburnum, with Pastor David Hedrick and Pastor Dustin Callahan officiating. Nick Hedrick shared a tribute.
Interment was in the Shoal Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Nick Hedrick, Bobby Leasor, Ron Leasor, Dennis Callahan, Brad Callahan and Reese Callahan. Honorary pallbearers were Travis, Taylor, Donielle, Nick, Darian, Christian and Keisha.
Mr. Beeman was born July 26, 1936 in Marshall Town, Iowa, to Glen Edward and Blanch Merlee (Anderson) Beeman. He married Shirley Jean Wilkinson January 17, 1967. He was the father of three sons. Mr. Beeman died October 23, 2020 in Steelville at the age of 84 years.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley “Jean” Beeman, Viburnum; sons, Mark Beeman and wife, Sharon, Viburnum; Mike Beeman and wife, Cristal, Desloge; and James “Jim” Beeman; grandchildren, Travis; Taylor; Donielle; Nick; Darian; Christian and wife, Rachell; and Keisha; great-grandchildren, Mia and Kyrah; sister, Helen Roush, Des Moines, Iowa; sister-in-law, Wanda Hedrick, Shoal Creek; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; father and mother-in-law, Labe and Gladine Wilkinson; brothers-in-law, Philip Rosch and Charles “Buf” Hedrick; sister-in-law, Annetta Gillam and husband, Charles.
Mr. Beeman was a member of Shoal Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
