Richard Allen Purcell Sr., 77, of Salem, Missouri, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Rolla, Missouri.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Burial to follow in the Akers Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
Richard is survived by his children: Sherri Reichard and husband Bobby Joe of Tennessee, Lisa Landrigan and wife Amy of Ozark, MO, Rick Purcell and wife Rachel of Salem, MO, Amy Rolen and husband Tim of Eminence, MO, and Sonya Null and husband Jeff of Lebanon, MO; fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his wife: Melissa Purcell; parents: Vancil and Beulah (Steelman) Purcell; brother: Clarence Purcell; sister: Dephine Purcell; grandson: Travis Watson Jr.; and great-granddaughter: Lyla Smith.
Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Richard Purcell to Akers Cemetery and left with Wilson Mortuary. Memorial Envelopes will be available.
