Mrs. Lewis was born October 5, 1956 in Fort Scott, Kansas, to Aaron and Bessie (Ballou) Chamberlain. She married Herbert Lee Lewis June 14, 1977. They were the parents of three children. Mrs. Lewis died March 15, 2024 in Salem at the age of 67 years.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert Lewis, Salem; children, Eva “Diana” Gillam and husband, Scott, Texas; Herbert “Bub” Lewis Jr., Salem; and Scott Lewis and wife, Katrina, Salem; siblings, James Chamberlain, Oceola; Liz Jackson and husband, Darrell, Salem; Judy Chamberlain, Salem; and Rusty Chamberlain, Salem; sister-in-law, Rita Chamberlain; grandchildren, Cody Lewis and wife, Rory; Dyllan Gillam and fiancé, Morgan Lang; Trenton Gillam and wife, Cassidy; Kelly Miller and husband, William; Elizabeth Lewis; Trinity Lewis and fiancé, Brian Reeves; Tayler Gillam; and Tristan Lewis; great-grandchildren, Shakoda, Waylon and three on-the-way; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Robert Chamberlain; sisters-in-law, Lana Chamberlain and Christy Chamberlain; brother-in-law, Kenny Lewis; and grandchildren, Baby Scott and Angel.
