Burial was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Schafer was born September 16, 1943 in Granite City, Illinois, to William and Georgie (Pace) Schrader. Mr. Schafer died June 14, 2020 in Salem at the age of 76 years.
Survivors include his siblings, Jimmy Conduitt, Salem; Darlene Wethy and husband, Gerald, Salem; Pat Dockery and husband, Vernon, Scottsville, Kentucky; Carmeletta Mendez and husband, Rafael, Salem; and Ellen Hedgcoth and husband, Michael, Salem; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Donald Schrader, Arthur Schrader, Gary Conduitt and Larry Schrader.
Mr. Schrader attended a Baptist Church in his younger years.
