Funeral service for George Gilbert was April 15, 2022 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Bob Myers officiating.
Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mike Godi, Jim Lacy, Casey Gilbert, Nathan Gilbert, Gene Gilbert and Brian Freeman. Honorary pallbearers were Steve Levin and Ed Wyatt.
Mr. Gilbert was born December 5, 1960 in Oakland, California, to Ernest Eugene and Ann Laurie (Muzzy) Gilbert. He was the father of two daughters. He married Karen Diane Carpenter November 27, 2002. Mr. Gilbert died April 10, 2022 in Salem at the age of 61 years.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Gilbert, Salem; daughters, Mindy Millburg and husband, Nate, Doolittle; and Ashley Gilbert, Farmington; siblings, Gene Gilbert and wife, Nita, Marshfield; Rebecca Cook and husband, Jim, St. Charles; and Brian Freeman and wife, Stacy, La Habra, California; grandchildren, Nathanial Gilbert, Casey Gilbert, Maggie Frank, Terry Millburg, Clark Millburg; and Jaden Millburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Ernie and Kim; sister, Elizabeth; and grandson, Dalton Frank.
