Funeral service for Barbara Lou (Mahan) Kinder will be at 11 a.m. July 1, 2020 at Rock Springs Baptist Church, Licking. Arrangements are under the direction of Fox Funeral Home, Licking.
Interment will be in the Anutt Cemetery.
Mrs. Kinder was born October 15, 1935 in St. Louis to James Pharris and Lois Alva (Martin) Mahan. She married Leroy Kinder December 14, 1953. They were the parents of three children. Mrs. Kinder died June 28, 2020 in Licking at the age of 84 years.
Survivors include her children, Roger Kinder and wife, Betty; and Wanda Moncrief and husband, Larry; son-in-law, Lenzy Smith, all of Licking; grandchildren, Dale Kinder and wife, Stephanie; Roy Kinder and wife, Carrie; Debrina Smith; Amanda McNew and husband, Colt; Cassie Richardson and husband, Andy; Laraea Moncrief; Ethan Kinder and wife, Haley; and Chance Moncrief and wife, Chelsea; great-grandchildren, Kyle Kinder and wife, Katie; Kasey Boos and husband, Kaleb; Kailie, Katie, Addie, Pearcy, Adrian, Parker, Adam, Colten, Khloe, Karter, Colby, Kinder, Janie, Erham, Archer, Arrow, Adeline, Kreed, and Olivia Lou; great-great-grandchild, Kollin and another grandson on-the-way; brother-in-law, Bob Sargent, West Plains; and a host of extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; daughter, Deborah Smith; sister, Jeanette Parker; brother-in-law, Lynn Kinder; and sisters-in-law, Kay Kinder and Jean Sargent.
Mrs. Kinder played the piano at Rock Springs, Anutt Full Gospel and numerous revivals. She also was a Sunday school and VBS teacher for decades.
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. June 30, 2020 at Fox Funeral Home, Licking.
