Funeral service for David Leroy Bergner was April 11, 2024 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Pastor Heath Garrison officiating.
Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Vince Wisdom, Teal Wisdom, Kent Inman, Gary Crocker, Keith Fore and Brett Fore.
Mr. Bergner was born January 13, 1944 in Berryman to Roy Bergner and Iva Sellers. He married Sharon Kay Inman January 21, 1967. They were the parents of one daughter. Mr. Bergner died April 8, 2024 in Chesterfield at the age of 80 years.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Bergner, Salem; daughter, Deborah Fore and husband, Keith, Salem; grandchildren, Mackenzie Fore and Brett Fore; nieces, Belinda Crocker and husband, Gary; Kathy Wood and husband, Loren; and Mary Kay Hampton and husband, Ben: and a host of extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his father, Roy Bergner; mother, Iva Sellers and husband, Guy; and brother, Norman Bergner and wife, Shirley.
Mr. Bergner served in the Army National Guard.
