Private graveside service for Jerry Mack Halbrook Sr. will be held at a later date.
Mr. Halbrook was born July 26, 1933 to Winfred and Sarah Maud Halbrook. He married Shirley Hedge January 21, 1951. They were the parents of four children. Mr. Halbrook died October 10, 2015 in Salem at the age of 82 years.
Survivors include his four children, Vickie Heitman and husband, David, Salem; Karen Paskon, St. Louis; Cindy Lieber, Naples, Fla.; Jerry Mack Halbrook Jr. and wife, Amy, St. Louis; grandchildren, Dr. Aaron Heitman and wife, Katrina, Rolla; Alex Heitman, St. Louis; Justin Hagler and wife, Marisa, Columbia; Tyler Paskon, St. Louis; Ian Paskon, Thailand; Brandon Norris and wife, Kimberly, St. Louis; Brock Halbrook and wife, Kathleen, Tulsa, Okla.; Emma Halbrook, St. Louis; great-grandchildren, Jonah, Adrianna and Elijah Heitman; Keelee Hagler; Cecelia Norris; Shay, Emilie and Elizabeth Halbrook; brothers, Clarence Halbrook and wife, Louise, Rolla; Alonzo Halbrook, Cocoa Beach, Fla.; sister, Helena Barschdorf, Rolla; and a host of nieces; nephews; extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Judy, whom he married in 1979; brothers, Dale and Joey Halbrook; sister, Gertrude Halbrook; and grandson, Sean Heitman.
Mr. Halbrook was a member of the Salem Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
