Celebration of life for Beth Alexander Roaseau, of Columbia, will be at 3 p.m. October 4, 2025 at Lenoir Woods Nifong Hall, Columbia. Arrangements are under the direction of James & Gahr Mortuary, Salem.
Mrs. Roaseau was born October 4, 1927 in Memphis, Tennessee, to Vera McBride and Vernon Alexander. She married Wade Roaseau in 1947. Mrs. Roaseau died September 15, 2025 at the age of 97 years.
Survivors include her children, Lawrence Roaseau (Linda), Key Largo, Florida; Mark Roaseau, Columbia; Sanci Canella (Jim), Frederick, Maryland; and Stacy Drane (Ed), Columbia; brother, Sam Alexander, Griffin, Georgia; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the Salem Public Library. Cards may be obtained at James & Gahr Mortuary.
