On behalf of the district, Oak Hill R-I administrators Steve Bryant, superintendent, and Breanna Warden, principal, thanked the North Wood R-IV community for its generous donation of volleyball season gate proceeds to help support the district following the severe storm damages that effected its facility roof on March 15. “Your kindness, community spirit, and willingness to step up in a time of need mean more than words can express,” said administrators. “Your support not only helps us rebuild but also reminds us of the incredible strength and compassion found within our surrounding communities. We are truly grateful for your thoughtfulness and generosity.” From left, Bryant, Warden, and North Wood R-IV principal James Flores.

John Hewkin has been a sports fan since he was a kid. He’s played, coached and been a fan of sports. I was a sports writer for 15 years before moving back to Missouri, but to this day you will still find me in my man cave a lot of nights and weekends watching something that requires a ball.
