A structure at 503 South Main Street was ablaze around 1:20 p.m. Friday afternoon.
According to the City of Salem, "Due to the structure fire on Hwy 19 across from Phil-Mart, water may be discolored and have sediment. Fire trucks are pulling large quantities of water from the city systems and this will stir up sediment in your water, please flush your faucets for a minute or so to clear it up.
