The Bonebrake Center and the Salem community benefit from the service activities conducted by the kids, which include stream clean-ups (through the existing Stream Team), tree planting, invasive species control, house maintenance, landscaping, gardening, habitat improvement etc.
Funding for 2012 for this program is provided in part by the L-A-D Foundation.
This event is free of charge and families with kids ages 5-15 are invited to attend. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Parents are to bring a lunch for their child.
Children who have already signed up over the past several months are encouraged to come and complete their program and earn their decorative Ozark Kids patch.
