The Dent County Developmental Disabilities Board met Thursday, April 18 for its regular quarterly meeting.
Members present were Shawn Bolerjack, Grant Hamlet, Ron Hutson, Philip Christesen, Wendy Pryor, and Becky Steiner. Pryor and Steiner attended virtually. Members absent were Stephanie Floyd and Cathy Diehl. Executive Director Amanda Sapaugh was also present.
The board reviewed documents detailing needed energy-grade repairs/updates provided by Energy Solutions Professionals. The board prioritized the need and discussed other repairs needed to the properties and requested an updated document with focused repairs/upgrades.
The board conducted an annual review of the by-laws with no action taken.
The board conducted the annual review of the funding policies and procedures. Sapaugh discussed needing to update the date for the funding request meeting to Oct. 17, 2024. A motion was made to accept the funding policies and procedures with the corrections to the date and passed unanimously.
Sapaugh provided the Executive Director Report. Sapaugh discussed communication between RCH housing and possible affordable housing opportunities.
