The Dent County Fire Protection District Board met for a special board meeting Friday, June 25, with board members present including David Green Shields, John Knight, Dr. Leigh Ann Price, Liz Gruendel, Mike Godi, and Jeff Stokes. The next meeting is to be held July 8.
The financial report was reviewed with Treasurer Dave Wells reporting that bonds had been sold locally to Bank of Salem $190,000, Progressive Ozark $330,000, Edward Jones $275,000, and Town and Country $570,000, showing strong local support. The bills, payments and statements reviewed and approved.
