Dent County came out in droves for the Nov. 5 Presidential Election, with a total of 70.20% voters turning out to vote on a rainy, rainy election day. 7,176 ballots were cast in the county out of 10,222 registered voters. Over 25% of those voters had already turned out to vote absentee, with a total of 2,516 absentee ballots cast, which County Clerk Angie Curley cited as breaking records. The following were the official results out of the nine reporting precincts of Dent County.
Donald J. Trump and JD Vance received 6,013 votes, winning 84.36% of the vote. Kamala D. Harris and Tim Walz received 14.38% of the vote at 1,025.
Jash Hawley received 5,662 votes, winning 80.56% of the vote. Lucas Kunce received 16.80% of the vote at 1,181.
Mike Kehoe received 5,861 votes, winning 83.23% of the vote. Crystal Quade received 14.45% of the vote at 1,016.
Dave Wasinger received 5,581 votes, winning 81.06% of the vote. Richard Brown received 14.96% of the vote at 1,030.
Danny Hoskins received 5,643 votes, winning 82.18% of the vote. Barbara Phifer received 15.17% of the vote at 1,042.
Vivek Malek received 5,629 votes, winning 82.19% of the vote. Mark Osmack received 13.89% of the vote at 951.
Andrew Bailey received 5,831 votes, winning 84.89% of the vote. Elad Jonathan Gross received 13.13% of the vote at 902.
US Representative District 8
Jason Smith received 5,778 votes, winning 82.65% of the vote. Randi McCallian received 14.45% of the vote at 1,010.
State Representative District 120
John W. Hewkin received 5,676 votes, winning 82.28% of the vote. Jen Tracy received 17.51% of the vote at 1,208.
Circuit Judge Circuit 42 Division 1
Megan K. Seay received 6,049 votes, winning 99.23% of the vote.
First District Commissioner
Keith Green received 2,895 votes, winning 98.57% of the vote.
Second District Commissioner
Jimmy Williams received 3,012 votes, winning 98.69% of the vote.
Bob Wells received 6,031 votes, winning 97.83% of the vote.
Alisa Brookshire received 5,901 votes, winning 98.76% of the vote.
Benjamin Pursifull received 5,911 votes, winning 99.51% of the vote.
Michelle Elwood received 5,898 votes, winning 99.56% of the vote.
Sherida Cook received 5,879 votes, winning 99.54% of the vote.
Gary Larson received 5,525 votes, winning 93% of the vote. Denver Ellis, write-in candidate, received 322 votes at 5.42%.
The electorate was also asked whether or not to retain the following Supreme Court judges:
Judge Kelly C. Broniec received 4,459 (73.03%) YES votes and 1,647 (26.97%) NO votes.
Judge Ginger K. Gooch received 4,315 (71.01%) YES votes and 1,762 (28.99%) NO votes.
And whether or not to retain the following Southern District Court of Appeals judges:
Judge Becky J. W. Borthwick received 4,324 (71.88%) YES votes and 1,682 (28.01%) NO votes.
Judge Jennifer R. Growcock received 4,302 (71.62%) YES votes and 1,705 (28.38%) NO votes.
Senior Homestead Property Tax Credit Question
This question was specific to Dent County residents, rather than all of Missouri. The question passed with 5,199 (75.26%) YES votes and 1,709 (24.74%) NO votes.

YES votes totaled 2,373 at 34.06%, while NO votes totaled 4,595 at 65.94%.
Constitutional Amendment No. 3
YES votes totaled 1,808 at 25.67%, while NO votes totaled 5,236 at 74.33%.

YES votes totaled 2,498 at 36.38%, while NO votes totaled 4,369 at 63.62%.

YES votes totaled 2,311 at 34.48%, while NO votes totaled 4,391 at 65.52%.
