According to reports received from the Salem Police Department:

• No injuries were reported Dec. 19 in a two-vehicle accident on MacArthur at Highway 32. A 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Thomas Halbrook of Salem was stopped on MacArthur, attempting to turn right onto Highway 32 when a 2007 Buick Terraza driven by Amanda Pryor of Salem that was behind the Ram failed to stop properly and collided with it. Both vehicles had minor damage in the 2:50 p.m. accident.

• No injuries were reported Jan. 2 in a collision on Highway 32 and Washington. A 2018 Buick Encore driven by Michelle Street, and owned by Delmar Hector, of Salem was stopped at the intersection and pulled onto Highway 32, failing to yield to a 2003 Chevy Tahoe that was passing on Highway 32, traveling westbound. The front bumper of the Buick struck the rear passenger fender of the Tahoe, driven by Molley Shaver. Both vehicles had moderate damage in the 4:08 p.m. collision.

• No injuries were reported in a collision on the William Lynch School parking lot Jan. 6. A 2008 Dodge Avenger owned by Michelle Steelman was parked and unoccupied on the west side of the school lot when a 2003 Chevy Tahoe driven by Jordan Williams of Salem, while backing from a parking spot, struck the right-side fender, door and mirror of the Avenger with its left rear fender. The Avenger had moderate damage and the Tahoe minor damage in the 8:32 p.m. collision. The Tahoe is owned by Glenda Botkin.

• No injuries were reported Jan. 14 in a collision on Highway 19 and Highway 32. A northbound 2003 Toyota Corolla driven by Paula Conley of Salem was turning from Highway 19 onto Highway 32 to go west, when it collided with a 2012 Chevy Equinox driven by Brooke Bettigrew of Salem as it was going south through the intersection. Conley told police she did not see the Equinox moving in the oncoming lane. Both vehicles had moderate damage in the 7:40 a.m. crash.
