According to reports received from the Dent County Sheriff’s Office:
• A deputy conducted a traffic stop on North Highway 19 and Rolla Road March 11. During the course of the traffic stop, a 22-year-old Salem man was arrested for driving while revoked/suspended second or third offense. The man was transported to the Dent County Sheriff’s Office, fingerprinted, issued summons and released.
• A deputy spoke to a 26-year-old Edgar Springs woman who was the reported victim of a theft March 12. The woman believed her wallet to have been stolen. Suspect information was gathered and during a course of an investigation, a 22-year-old Salem was arrested for stealing – all other property and possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less – prior drug offense. The man was transported to the Dent County Sheriff’s Office, fingerprinted, issued summons and released.
• A deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of North Main Street March 14. During the course of the traffic stop a 29-year-old Salem man was arrested for an active warrant through Licking Police Department. The man was transported to the Dent County Sheriff’s Office where he later posted bond and was released.
