According to online reports of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol:
• Injuries were reported March 10 as a result of a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Highway 32 one-tenth a mile west of State Route AC, according to an online report of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. A 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier, driven by Franklin D. Hedrick, 55, of Viburnum, was eastbound at 10:30 a.m. March 10 when control of the vehicle was lost, it traveled off the right side of the roadway, down an embankment and struck a tree. Passenger Karen E. Salsman, 62, of Steelville, received minor injuries in the crash and was taken to Salem Memorial District Hospital by Iron County Ambulance. The Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and was removed from the scene by Abney’s Towing.
