Missouri residents who have suffered losses due to COVID-19 may be eligible for Federal COVID-19 funeral assistance funding. Under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is providing financial assistance for COVID-19related funeral expenses incurred after January 20, 2020.
“My office recently learned about this Federal program, and I want topass the information on to my constituents,” said State Representative Ron Copeland (R-Salem). “It’s my job to keep residents of my district informed.”
