At approximately 2:40 a.m. Oct. 27 officers from the Rolla Police Department responded to an alarm call at First Community National Bank located at 2323 N. Bishop Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered the drive-thru ATM was damaged. During the preliminary investigation, officers and investigators determined that unknown masked individuals unlawfully gained access to the ATM and removed an undisclosed amount of money. They fled the scene in a silver passenger vehicle before the officers arrived.
During an area of canvass, investigators located items of evidence indicating the suspects likely fled east along the I-44 corridor. Investigators also located evidence indicating the suspects were in the Rolla area the day before the theft.
