The Oak Hill R-I Board of Education met Oct. 26 at 6:31 p.m. Members present were Nathan Ragsdale, Amanda Dooley, Nikki Eaton, Sarah Hoffman, Amanda Sapaugh, and James Reese. Superintendent Aibeen Holland was also present. Tela Connors was absent. Visitors present were Maria Jessen, Steven Thompson, Brenda Ragsdale, Stevee Piatt, Rebecca White, Rhonda Hutsell, Shanna Hawn, Judy Ragsdale, and Breanna Taylor.
White and Piatt spoke to the board regarding the procedure for posting open positions in the district for internal employees, particularly for the parent as teacher educator position. It was clarified the recent vacancy was for an instructional aide only, as the current PAT educator is contracted for the whole year.
