The TCMH Healthcare Foundation has announced that its Annual Online Hospice Auction will take place from Nov. 27 through Dec. 6. The auction is one of the Foundation’s most impactful annual efforts to fund Hospice of Care, which provides medical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and families throughout Texas County.
“This event allows us to turn generosity into real, tangible care for local families,” said Jeff Gettys, President of the TCMH Healthcare Foundation. “Every bid and every donation ensure that those facing life’s most difficult moments are surrounded with dignity, peace, and compassion.”
New this year, the Foundation will host a live Auction Celebration on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the BARn. Community members, donors, and sponsors will gather to watch the final moments of bidding unfold in real time, celebrate the generosity of those who made the event possible, and share in the collective impact made for local families.
The Foundation is inviting everyone in the community to play a part in this year’s auction. Local businesses can donate gift baskets, signature products, or gift cards for services. Anything that showcases what they do best. Contractors might consider offering a few hours of skilled labor, from home repairs to landscaping projects. Church groups and civic organizations can team up to create themed packages that tell a story, like a “Family Fun Night” bundle or a “Made in Texas County” collection. The more creative and personal the donation, the more it inspires competitive bidding.
Every dollar raised through the Online Hospice Auction stays in Texas County, directly supporting TCMH Hospice of Care. These funds allow the program to provide comprehensive medical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and their families, ensuring that no one walks through life’s final chapter alone.
