Salem went 1-2 in matches played last week, including a split of two SCA contests.

Salem was beaten by Mountain View Liberty 3-1 (25-19, 26-28, 25-13, 25-17) Thursday at Mountain View. For the Lady Tigers Avery Erway had 19 digs, three aces, 15 kills and a block; Shelby Pogue 13 digs; Skyler Klapperich eight assists, 14 digs, two aces, four kills and a block; Malerie Workman eight assists, 21 digs, two aces and two kills; Jaden Flores five digs, one ace and four kills; Makayla Roos seven digs and four kills; Mickenzie Tarlton six digs, an ace and two kills, and Cayleigh Moody 11 assists, four digs and an ace.

At home Sept. 28, the Lady Tigers swept past Thayer 25-23, 25-8, 25-17. Pogue had five digs; Moody six assists, three digs and six aces; Workman eight assists, three digs, 10 kills and one ace; Roos two digs and a kill; Flores two aces; Klapperich 12 assists, four digs, two aces and two kills; Faith LaJoie a kill; Erway six digs, two aces and 13 kills; Kylee Shalbot three digs, and Tarlton a kill and two digs.

Sept. 27 Salem lost in three games at St. Clair 25-14, 25-11, 25-17. Flores had an ace and kill; Pogue eight digs; Erway seven digs, three aces and seven kills; Tarlton three digs and one kill; Moody five assists, two digs, two aces and a kill; Shalbot 12 digs; Workman four assists, 11 digs and two kills, and Klapperich three assists, three digs and a block.

This week the Lady Tigers were slated to play at Bunker Monday and compete in the Licking Tournament Saturday.
