A celebration of life for Elizabeth Bradford Moore Barnitz, of Lake Spring, was April 22, 2023 at James & Gahr Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with J.J. Tune officiating. A eulogy was given by Sara Earl.
Mrs. Barnitz was born December 25, 1936 in Kansas City to Frank and Evelyn (Freeman) Moore. She married George Alan Barnitz November 3, 1962. They were the parents of four children. Mrs. Barnitz died March 20, 2023 in Lake Spring at the age of 86 years.
Survivors include her husband, George Alan Barnitz, Lake Spring; children, Laura Barnitz and husband, Abi D’sa, Silver Spring, Maryland; Ellen Villeme and husband, Fred, Rolla; Frank Barnitz and wife, Lisa, Lake Spring; and Sara Earl and husband, Pat, Rolla; grandchildren, Ava and Diya D’sa; AnniLauri, Shaila and Forrest Villeme; Cami Chapman and husband, Justin; Kenadee Barnitz and fiancé, Traves Merrick; Amaura Fry; Alison Earl and fiancé, Tyler Dvorak; Nathan Earl; great-grandchildren, Presley Chapman, Hadlee Dvorak, Gus Merrick and Denver Merrick; sister-in-law, Janet Faye Bowles; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; parents-in-law, George and Betty Barnitz; brother, Freeman Moore; sister, Anne Haydon; sister-in-law, Edie Moore Berg; brother-in-law, Ed Haydon; great-niece, Stephanie Trujillo; and granddaughter, Leslie Fry.
