Funeral service for Jerry Elva Stacy was October 19, 2020 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating and Heather sharing the eulogy.
Interment was in the Green Forest Cemetery, with Military Honors.
Pallbearers were Travis Baker, Mark Clark, Kevin Stacy, Jerry Lough, Shannon Lough and Shane McPherson. Honorary pallbearers were Allen Moore and Westley McPherson.
Mr. Stacy was born January 11, 1940 in Trinidad, Colorado, to Elva and Juanita (Smith) Stacy. He married Barbara Sue Baker March 26, 1966. They were the parents of two children. Mr. Stacy died October 14, 2020 in Salem at the age of 80 years.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Stacy, Salem; daughter, Heather Roberts, Waynesville; son, Heath Stacy and wife, Marilyn, Anutt; siblings, Myrna Faulkner, Salem; Gene Stacy, Salem; Archie Stacy and wife, Janet, Salem; Carolyn Lough and husband, Jerry, Salem; grandson, Mark Clark and wife, Brittni, Lebanon; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; son-in-law, Michael Wayne Roberts; sister-in-law, Mary Sharpsten; and nephews, Alan and Gregory Stacy and Brian and Tony Baker.
Mr. Stacy served in the United States Army earning a Good Conduct Medal and Marksman (Rifle M-14). He was also a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
