Funeral service for Winford Lloyd Pryor, of Richwoods and formerly of Viburnum, was January 12, 2020 at Boss Assembly of God Church with Rev. Paul Davis officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Britton-Bennett Funeral Home, Steelville.
Music was provided by Kevin and Kim Abney and Pam Davis.
Interment was in the Boss Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bob Jaros, Jimmy Hardesty, Marty Hedgcoth, Brandon Hedgcoth, Bradley Hedgcoth and Trey Harris.
Mr. Pryor was born March 13, 1922 in Boss to Alva and Birdie (Hinson) Pryor. He married Edith Irene Baker March 31, 1941. They were the parents of three children. Mr. Pryor died January 8, 2020 at the age of 97 years.
Survivors include his daughter, Linda Snyder and companion, Robert Jaros, Richwoods; grandchildren, Marty Hedgcoth, Tammy Bourbon and Pam Hardesty and husband, Jimmy; great-grandchildren, Brandon Hedgcoth, Bradley Hedgcoth, Shelby Hedgcoth, Emily Hedgcoth, Lindsey Wilson, Trey Harris, Keri Zumbrum and husband, Jason, and Tayler Harris; great-great-grandchildren, Asher, Brandon, Kamrynn, Jaxon, Briar, Easton, Parker, Karson and Kynnzleigh; and a host of extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife; sons, Larry Pryor and infant Ronald Pryor; son-in-law, Earl Hedgcoth; brothers, Clifton Pryor, Lorian Pryor, Cleo Pryor, Alva Pryor Jr. and Floyd Pryor; sisters, Ruby Hedrick, Eunice Vance, Iva Bergner, Alpha Maddox and Melba Conway; brother-in-law, Noel Baker; and sister-in-law, Jeral Gallaher and husband, Buck.
Mr. Pryor was a member of the Grace Assembly Church, St. Louis and a member of Boss Assembly Church.
