Funeral service for George Thomas Flint was March 30, 2021 at James & Gahr Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Ronnie Parker officiating.
Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
Pallbearers were Carl Flint, Robert Flint, Terry Nash, Carl Nash, Steve Tupper and Mike Tupper.
Mr. Flint was born June 12, 1933 in Wilmington, Illinois, to Harry Melvin and Hazel (Stevens) Flint. He married Frances Watson June 30, 1956. They were the parents of two sons. Mr. Flint died March 24, 2021 in Salem at the age of 87 years.
Survivors include his son, Clinton Flint and wife, Janice, Joliet, Illinois; sisters, Pearl Crocker and Doris Byron, Hardy, Arkansas; grandchildren, Amy Cone and husband, Daniel; Stephen Flint and wife, Kayla; great-grandchildren, Camron Flint, Raylin Cone and Easton Cone; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife; son, Kenneth Flint; brothers, Lee, Gordon, Melvin, Walter and Clinton Flint.
Mr. Flint served in the Army.
