Roger Eikelmann, 70, of Salem, passed away September 29, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City. Roger was born on September 8, 1951 in St. Louis, to Robert and Helen Eikelmann.
Roger was a self-taught carpenter and craftsman. He also did his share of framing and drywall in the construction industry working mainly on refurbishing old homes in the City of St. Louis. Roger also lived and worked in California and Colorado before settling in the Salem area. He enjoyed fishing, floating and spending time with family and friends.
Roger is survived by three sisters, Kathy (David) Winebrinner of Salem, Judy Liesen of Salem and Mary (Brad) Dreyer of Liberty, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and neph-ews.
Preceding him in death were his parents and several aunts and uncles.
Cremation has been accorded and a “Celebration of Life” will be determined at a later date.
