Thinking of Others: FOOD DRIVE COLLECTION AT SALEM UPPER ELEMENTARY

The third annual food-drive collection ended Nov. 20 at Salem Upper Elementary School. Grade levels competed for a hat day as the prize for bringing in the most ounces of food. A total of 10,989 ounces were collected Oct. 28 through Nov. 20. Second graders were the top collectors with 5,386 ounces. Food is donated to His Place for completion of Thanksgiving baskets and food pantry usage.
