A Trash Bash in Eminence Saturday is dedicated to late mayor Jim Anderson. Registration begins at the Eminence Pavilion on Jack’s Fork near the old ball park at 8 a.m. and goes through 10 a.m.

There will two teams assigned to address large debris that has been in this popular section of Jacks Fork since the 2017 flooding. Volunteers will be provided with gloves but are suggested to dress appropriately and bring such tools as pry bars, nail pullers and metal cutters as well as first aid supplies.

There will be a meal beginning at 5 p.m. with the meat provided and requests for side dishes and desserts. All volunteers will be given a Stream Team T-shirt and there will door prizes as well. This event is being dedicated to the memory of Anderson, who had been a long-time proponent of these river clean-ups. There is still a large need for support for this effort, including food, door prizes, equipment, etc.
