According to online reports of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol:
• Injuries were reported Nov. 27 as a result of a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Dent County Road 4210 six miles east of Salem. A 1993 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by William J. Scott, 21, of Salem, was eastbound at 9:15 p.m. Nov. 27 when it crossed the center line, travelled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree. Scott and passenger Georgia L. Burris, 22, of Salem, both received minor injuries and were transported by ambulance to Salem Memorial District Hospital. The Chevrolet sustained extensive damage and was removed from the scene by Whitaker’s Towing.
• Injuries were reported Nov. 22 as a result of a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Highway 72 one half-mile north of State Route C. A 2017 Nissan Altima, driven by Katey R. Wesley, 28, of Salem, was westbound at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 22 when it struck a deer in the roadway. A six-year-old juvenile passenger sustained minor injuries and was transported by Salem Ambulance to Salem Memorial District Hospital. The Nissan sustained moderate damage and was removed from the scene by Whitaker’s Towing.
