Jadwin and Copeland

Last week, Dent County lost a great man and public servant. Clifford Jadwin, former Dent County sheriff, passed away at the age of 73. Clifford served as Salem’s Chief of Police for seven years, and served as Dent County’s Sheriff for 16 years. He was a dedicated family man, and his heart belonged to God.

During my career as a state trooper in Dent County, I had the privilege of working alongside Clifford. He was a role model, a friend and a mentor.

I will truly miss him, and I look forward to the time when I will see him again in heaven. Please join me in praying for Clifford’s family and friends. They’ve lost a great man.
