Three people were injured Tuesday resulting from a two-vehicle crash that occurred three miles north of Salem on Highway 68, according to an online report of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A 2007 Ford Focus, driven by Laura E. Lewis, 50, of Salem, was westbound at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday when it pulled into the path and was struck by a northbound 2009 Nissan Quest, driven by Shelby N. Wood, 28, of Salem.

Wood, Lewis and Ford passenger Jacqueline S. Hovis, 40, of Salem, all received minor injuries and were taken to Salem Memorial District Hospital.

Both vehicles sustained total damage and were removed from the scene by Whitakers Towing.
