A Salem woman was injured Monday during a two-vehicle crash that occurred on State Route CC eight miles west of Salem, according to an online report of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera, operated by Chance L. Bryson, 17, of Licking, was westbound at 7:50 a.m. Monday when it crossed the center line of the roadway and struck an eastbound 2011 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Sheena R. Turner, 37, of Salem.

Turner received moderate injuries in the crash and was transported to Salem Memorial District Hospital by Salem Ambulance.

Both vehicles sustained total damage. The Chevrolet was removed from the scene by American Muffler and Tire. The Oldsmobile was removed from the scene by Jay's Automotive and Towing

The highway patrol was assisted on the call by the Dent County Sheriff’s Office and Lenox Fire Department.
