A Salem woman was seriously injured Friday resulting from a one vehicle crash that occurred on Highway H eight miles west of Salem, according to an online report of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A 2006 Ford Ranger, driven by Amanda S. Beck, 21, was eastbound at 5:32 p.m. Friday when it traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Beck received serious injuries and was transported to Salem Memorial District Hospital by Salem EMS.

The Ford sustained total damage and was removed from the scene by American Automotive and Towing.

The highway patrol was assisted on the call by the Dent County Sheriff's Department.
