A Salem woman was cited Tuesday after a one-vehicle crash occurred one mile north of Salem at the intersection of County Road 3230 and County Road 3240, according to online reports of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Cynthia J. Indelicato, 60, of Salem, was arrested at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday on charges of felony DWI (persistent offender) and careless and imprudent driving involving a crash.
A highway patrol crash report state Indelicato was operating a 2002 Dodge Pickup eastbound at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday when it failed to stop at a stop sign, went through the intersection, off the roadway and struck two trees.
Indelicato received minor injuries in the crash and was transported by patrol vehicle to Salem Memorial District Hospital for treatment. She was later incarcerated in the Dent County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
The Dodge sustained total damage and was removed from the scene by Whitakers Towing.
