Injuries were reported Wednesday as a result of a one-vehicle crash that occurred at the 186.4-mile marker of Interstate 44, according to an online report of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A 2007 Ford Mustang, driven by Robert C. Ritrovato, 26, of Belle, was westbound at 11:55 a.m. Wednesday when control of the vehicle was lost on the roadway, it traveled off the north side of road and struck the ground.

A 12-year-old Freeburg juvenile received minor injuries in the crash and was taken to Phelps Health by Phelps Health Ambulance.

The Ford sustained moderate damage and was removed from the scene by Ron Dishman Towing.
