Not included in these totals are two cases in Reynolds county and one in Crawford county. County health centers reported the cases via social media.

DHSS states, “As commercial testing capacities increase, the coordination of patient and associated contact investigations is paramount to preventing and mitigating the spread of the virus. While performing public health priority activities, including notifying the patient, raising awareness among our communities is valuable. We will provide data as it is available, verified and pertinent.”

The Missouri Department of Health and Social Services reported 168 new cases in the state, raising the total confirmed COVID-19 cases to 838 from 670 reported Friday. The state had 90 cases Saturday, March 21.

The Illinois Department of Public Health announced 465 new cases Saturday, raising the Illinois total to 3,491.
