The Salem High School track team will be sending three athletes in three events to the Missouri Class 3 Track and Field Championships after qualifying through the Sectional 3 Meet Saturday, May 18 at Waynesville High School.

The top four finishers in each event move on from sectionals to the Class 3 State Championships, to be held at the Licklider Track Complex in Jefferson City May 24-25.

Advancing for the Salem Tigers were senior Konner Ousley, who placed second in the long jump at 20-0; junior Kolson Seay, who was third in the shot put at 47-3 ½, and sophomore Caden Camden, who finished fourth in the pole vault at 12-0.
