Salem dropped three road matches last week.

Monday, Sept. 30 Salem lost at St. Clair 25-15, 25-8. Junior Ashton Mink paced the Lady Tigers with three kills.

Tuesday, Oct. 1 the Lady Tigers were swept by Mountain View Liberty 25-22, 25-7. Freshman Avery Erway led the way with three aces.

Thursday, Oct. 3 Salem lost in two sets to Mountain Grove 25-8, 25-13.

Saturday, Oct. 5 the Lady Tigers competed in the Potosi JV Tourney.

The JV Lady Tigers split with Cuba, lost both sets to Hillsboro and pulled out a three-set victory over Kingston, 25-21, 17-25, 15-7.

“We might not have placed in this tournament, but we played with heart,” said Salem head coach Kristi Steelman. “It was a good job by the girls.”

This week Salem was to play at Bunker Monday and at Houston Tuesday.
