WEDNESDAY MARCH 10

• Art Across the Ages Exhibit at Ozark Natural and Cultural Resource Center every operating day until March 31. One section will feature one-room schools of Dent County. Information: 729-0029.

THURSDAY, MARCH 11

• Oak Hill R-I school will have a board of education meeting 6 p.m.
The meeting will start with a call to order, including roll call, recognition of visitors and approval of agenda. Then the secretary/treasurer's report will be conducted which will include items such as the minutes from February, cash reports, payment of bills and the meals and attendance report. The superintendent's report will be given, which will discuss items such as facilities updates, policy updates and graduation date. Old business and new business will also be discussed. A closed session is scheduled to discuss personnel.

•Ozark Rivers Audubon meeting 7 p.m. at Eugene Northern Community Center near the courthouse in Rolla for a program about Missouri's Mammals, our wild deer, coyotes, foxes, beavers, squirrels, mice bats and many others. Speaker is Carol Mahan. Information: 364-8567.

SATURDAY, MARCH 13

•Salem High School Band Parents fundraiser, a concert by No Leaf Clover featuring Michael Connors 7-9 p.m. in the Salem Senior High School Gym. There is a cost.

•Sligofest 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Sligo Community Center. This is the eighth annual celebration of Sligo's Irish heritage. Come and meet special guest, Gavin Walsh from Sligo, Ireland. All you can eat dinner served from noon until 4 p.m. for a cost.

•Good Time Dance Club dance doors open at 6 p.m. with free line dance instructions from 6:15 p.m. until 7 p.m. and the dance from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m., at Family Life Center, 1701 Highway 72 east in Rolla. There is a cost. Information: (573) 308-6816.

•The Bunker Volunteer Fire Department will hold their annual Pie Auction 6 p.m. at the Bunker Lions Building.

Voice of the Ozarks annual meeting will be 6:30 p.m. at Eminence High School's new gymnasium. Bluegrass music, speeches, food and beverages will be available for purchase.

TUESDAY MARCH 23

•Public Candidates Forum will be at 6:30 p.m. at Salem City Hall Auditorium. This forum will feature candidates running in the City of Salem Municipal Election. Questions for the candidates will come from those present in the audience.

•The NAMI Basics Education Program specifically for parents, caregivers and foster parents with children with ADHD, Oppositional Defiance, depress, bipolar and anxiety disorders starts 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Waynesville United Methodist Church. To register call: 1-800-374-2138.
