WEDNESDAY, JULY 23
   
• American Red Cross will have a blood drive from 2 to 7 p.m. at New Harmony Church, located on Hwy. 32 West. Give blood and receive a free Cardinal t-shirt. Information: 729-5991 or 1-800-GIVE-LIFE.
FRIDAY, JULY 25
   
• City Hall Music Night will be from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Salem City Hall Auditorium. Featuring Barefoot Linda. Refreshments provided by the Montauk Homemakers Club. Admission is by donation. Information: 729-6685.
    • Dent County Arts and Crafts Guild will meet at 10 a.m. at the Community Center. Information: 729-9533.
SATURDAY, JULY 26
   
• Upper Parker Church will have Iron Mountain Bluegrass at 7 p.m., followed by fellowship. Everyone is welcome.
    • IAAP will have a kids carnival to raise money for IAAP (International Administrative Assistant Professionals) at 10 a.m. at Metro Business College, in Rolla. Information: 247-7623.
    • Relay for Life, sponsored by the SEMO Mining and Milling Division of the Doe Run Company, is hosting a dinner at the Viburnum Country Club, beginning with a silent auction at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. Information: 573-689-4577.

• Dent County Cattlemen will have a picnic at 5:30 p.m. at the M.U. Wurdack Farm near Cook Station, with the picnic at the spring. Bring a covered dish and table service. Hamburgers, watermelon, and drinks will be provided. Information: 729-6791.

• Gladden Baptist Church will have vacation bible school through August 1 at 6 p.m. at the church, located 12 miles on south 19. For children ages 4 to 13. Information: 729-5563.
