Funeral service for Sarah Weible was August 2, 2019 at James & Gahr Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with David Kight and Heath Garrison officiating.

Interment was in the Corridon Reynolds Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Anothony Mimms, Justin Allen, Aaron Allen, Levi Weible, Jeff Strange and John Mimms.

Mrs. Weible was born July 28, 1925 in Corridon to Alfred and Aroa (Calkins) Homer. She married Ralph Weible January 11, 1945. They were the parents of four children. Mrs. Weible died July 25, 2019 in Bangor, Maine, at the age of 93 years.

Survivors include her children, Carol Mimms and husband, John, Salem; Francis Perkey and husband, Dave, Cantor, Georgia; and Evelyn Allen, Woodstock, Georgia; Thomas Weible and wife, Gretchen, Lawrenceville, Georgia; sister, Barbara Brown and husband, Joshua, St. Ann; grandchildren, Anthony Mimms and wife, Jennifer; Kimberly Strange and husband, Jeff; Justin Allen and wife, Luanne; Aaron Allen and wife, Nicole; Levi Weible and Emily Weible; great-grandchildren, Madelyn Allen, Seth Allen, Austin Mimms, Elemêr Mimms, Aroa Strange, Annaliese Strange, Brennan Allen and Abby Allen; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Mae Weible; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; son-in-law, Dale Allen; brothers, Alfred Homer, Percey Homer, Russell Homer, John Homer and Robert Homer.

Mrs. Weible was a member of Corner Stone Community Church, Woodstock, Georgia, and attended Salem United Baptist.
