Funeral service for Ethel Cleone Coad was January 9, 2013 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Ken Fiebelman officiating.
Music was provided by Lisa Wulff as soloist.
Interment was in the Stone Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Condray III, Shawn Wood, Scott Wood, Jay Gibbs, Nathan Wood and Jordan Wood. Honorary pallbearers were Jonathan Gibbs, Garrett Tallent, Kenneth Tallent, Dylan Tallent, Zander Cooper, Joseph Griffith, Jaren Griffith, Olliver Wood, Trenton Wood, John Condray IV, Gunner Cooper, Trevor Cooper and Adam Richter.
Mrs. Coad was born July 12, 1931 in Stone Hill to Clarence and Ethel Mae (Lewis) McEntire. She was the mother of four children. She married Byron William Coad May 6, 1977. Mrs. Coad died January 6, 2013 in Salem at the age of 81 years.
Survivors include her husband, Byron Coad, Salem; children, Faye St. Charles, Bowling Green, Ky.; Edward Wood and wife, Judy, Many Farms, Arz.; and William “Bill” Wood and wife, Tracey, Salem; sister, Fern Horne and husband, Howard, Salem; grandchildren, Michelle Guess; John Condray III and wife, Adrianne; J.J. Gibbs and wife, Laura; Shawn Wood and wife, Kelly; Nathan Wood and wife, Tania; Kimberly Cooper and husband, Todd; Scott Wood and wife, Niki; Jennifer Wood; Adam Richter; Janice Griffith and husband, Joe Jr.; and Jordan Wood; and great-grandchildren, Jonathan Gibbs; Garrett Tallent, Kenneth Tallent, Dylan Tallent, Mikayla Wood, Zander Cooper, Joselyn Wood, Kyleigh Wood, Lyla Wood, Ayla Wood, Joseph Griffith, Jaren Griffith, Olliver Wood, Trent Wood, Carsyn Wood, John Condray IV, Gunner Todd and Trevor Todd.

Mrs. Coad was a member of First Baptist Church.
