Funeral service for Louis J. Chapman was May 30, 2012 at Fox Funeral Home, Licking, with Bro. Bobby Mathis and Bro. Billy Miller officiating.
Interment was in the Edgar Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Chris Caldiero, Dominic de Leon, Dustin Christensen, David Stotler, Dave Niehaus, Billy Miller, Brandon Moncel and John Houser.
Mr. Chapman was born April 3, 1932 in St. Louis to Louis F. and Marcella (O’Keefe) Chapman. He married Pauline Wilson September 30, 1956. They were the parents of four children. Mr. Chapman died May 23, 2012 in Edgar Springs at the age of 80 years.
Survivors include his four children, Pauline “Peaches” Stotler and David, Lenox; Velma Johnson, Lenox; Belinda Kankolenski and Bill, Anutt; Becky Siegle, Edgar Springs; six grandchildren, Chris, Matt, Amanda, Whitney, Kenra and Dominic; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Chapman; brother, Joseph Chapman; and a host of extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife; sisters, Marcella Mader, Cleo Slaski, Loraine Eaves, Velma Spruill; and brother, Jimmy Chapman.
Mr. Chapman fought in the Korean War, retired from General Motors and was a member of the VFW, NRA and Masonic Lodge.
