Laura "Jane" LaRue

Funeral service for Laura “Jane” (White) LaRue was April 13, 2019 at Locust Grove United Baptist Church, Oates, with Pastors Denny Mathes and Gary Mathes officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary, Salem.

Music was provided by Locust Grove United Baptist Church Choir.

Interment was in the Sam Crocker Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wesley Harris, Garrett Harris, Lucas LaRue, Clay LaRue, Kirk LaRue and Ty Harris.

Mrs. LaRue was born August 31, 1933 in Oates to Edgar Marion and Velma (Mathes) White. She married Oren LaRue April 5, 1951. They were the parents of six children. Mrs. LaRue died April 11, 2019 in St. Louis at the age of 85 years.

Survivors include her husband, Oren LaRue, Belleview; children, Elaine Harris and husband, Stephen, Belleview; Terry LaRue and wife, Toreen, Viburnum; Gary LaRue, Viburnum; Philip LaRue and wife, Mary, Viburnum; Scott LaRue and wife, Cindy, Buffalo; and Shane LaRue and wife, Stacy, Belleview; grandchildren, Wes Harris and wife, Brooke, Viburnum; Garrett Harris and wife, Amanda, Viburnum; Lucas LaRue and wife, Tonya, Nixa; Brooke Pyatt and husband, Steven, Viburnum; Krystle Smith and husband, Chad, Salem; Sammi Parker and husband, Greg, Salem; Kirk LaRue and wife, Sarah, St. Charles; Michelle LaRue, Viburnum; Katie Viets and husband, Sean, Elkland; Clay LaRue and wife, Patricia, Viburnum; Kristie LaRue, St. Louis; Rob Jacobs and wife, Diane, Buffalo; and Natalie Robinson and husband, Micah, Kaysville, Utah; great-grandchildren, Ty Harris, Wyatt Harris, Lexi Harris, Loni LaRue Harris, Cadence Harris, Gage Harris, Kathryn LaRue, Clark LaRue, Elijah Pyatt, Lanee Pyatt, Halee Pyatt, Walker Smith, Toree Smith, Owen Parker, Ali Jane Parker, Elsie LaRue, Lane LaRue, Leighton LaRue, Maddie Jacobs, Brooke Jacobs, Kyra Jacobs, Charli Robinson and Bentley Robinson; sisters, Rose Barton, Viburnum; Shirley Dunn, Viburnum; sister-in-law, Doris Wigger, Courtois; and brother-in-law, Jerry LaRue and wife, Evelyn, Salem; and a host of extended family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers and sisters, Carl White, Aaron White, Forcine Dunn, Jerline White, Geneva Barton, Alma White and Earl White; and granddaughter, Tonya Harris.

Mrs. LaRue was a member of Locust Grove United Baptist Church.
