Healthy Dent County and Cahills Construction recently announced a Casino Night Fundraiser Nov. 2 at the Salem Community Center @ the Armory.

Back in its second year, the casino night was well attended in 2018. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with gaming from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

The event features game tables much like the ones you find in a real casino, as well as professional dealers to run the games.

Event ticket holders will receive $10,000 in chips to play casino games of their choice throughout the evening. Traditional games such as craps, roulette and blackjack are available, alongside food and a cash bar. At the end of the evening, prizes are drawn after attendees exchange gaming money for tickets.

In addition, three drawings will be held for a weekend getaway, 50/50, and a barrel of libations.

Guests are asked to come dressed in masquerade ball-themed attire and receive an extra $1,000 in gaming money.

“We are happy to offer an exciting night out for residents,” said Sara Jones, Casino Night committee member. “The masquerade theme ensures the opportunity for costume and casino fun, while raising money for a great cause.”

Tickets are available at Salem Community Center @ the Armory or online at
